The $95 million Uptown 500 development is a transit-oriented mixed use project conceived out of the Village of Wheeling's long-term vision for the revitalization of the Wheeling Town Center. The project was designed to create a vital and thriving village center, with 321 new, luxury studio, 1-bed and 2-bed apartments, and 12,500 sq ft of new retail space on the Northwest corner of Dundee Rd and Northgate Pkwy. 

The 6-story light-gauge steel framed building will feature a state-of-the-art amenity package, including a courtyard, swimming pool, sun deck, BBQ pavillion, game and recreation room, master great room, multiple fitness rooms, and multiple business centers and rentable party spaces. The architecture of the building will use natural materials such as brick, stone, and glass with an emphasis on creating a dynamic streetscape highlighted by the project's beautiful ceiling glass-enclosed skybridge.

Uptown 500 has been planned to be a highly sustainable mixed-use community that embraces best practices in design and construction, and will lead the market in terms of energy conservation and generation. The building features a high-performance envelope, high efficiency light, appliances and controls, and high efficiency HVAC systems using Variable Refrigerant Flow systems. Further, the project features a rooftop solar array that will power a majority of the amenity spaces and other common areas of the building.
